Activities
The activities were developed in two parallel educational paths organized in the project countries: in Italy, in the cities of Florence and Rome, and in Turkey in Gaziantep and Kilis. They were articulated in classroom training and workshops led by digital communication trainers.
An inclusive and dynamic approach was used throughout the delivery of the courses in order to favor the active participation and engagement of the students, thus fostering their communication and collaboration skills, stimulating their creativity and critical thinking, as well as strengthening their sense of ownership.
Interactive classroom training
The training course programs aimed at teaching fundamental concepts and notions on digital technology covered the following topics:
- 1) Social media and digital marketing tools and techniques (social media platforms, graphic design basics, storytelling and personal branding).
- 2) Web communication skills (web design, web marketing and analysis tools).
- 3) Business empowerment through digital tools (business project planning and development).
Participatory workshops
The immersive workshops were organized with the aim of consolidating and applying the theoretical knowledge acquired during the training. During the workshops, the participants developed individual and group digital communication projects, such as planning the creation of apps, e-commerce websites or communication campaigns accompanied by tutors and experts.
